Septic System Workshop
Haywood Waterways Association and the Haywood County Environmental Health Department are hosting a septic system workshop. The event is Wednesday November 5th 5:30pm – 6:45pm at the Haywood County Agricultural Service Center, 589 Raccoon Road, Waynesville.
Given the average cost of a septic system is $13,500, proper maintenance can make the system last longer with fewer issues. Staff will be on hand to discuss everything there is to know about septic systems – how they work, best way to keep them working, how to identify failing systems, and what financial assistance might be available for homeowners having problems.
